Alexis James – 1997-2007
All donations will go directly to the American Center for Van and Tire Safety in memory of Alexis James and will be used to bring awareness of the dangers of 15-passenger vans and “aged” tires to as much of the general public as possible. Alexis died in a single vehicle 15-passenger van roll-over accident on July 17, 2007 when the left rear tire (an old but never used spare) failed and lost it’s tread.
*American Center for Van and Tire Safety is a non-profit organization established in early 2008 to fight for improvements in 15-passenger van safety and to bring public awareness to the dangers of “aged” tires.
